Center of reference and assistance for immigrants

Assistance

Adus: Portuguese classes, professional qualification courses, insertion in the job market, cultural and leisure activities, among others.
Associação Cidade Escola Aprendiz: Responsible for several literacy projects in Portuguese language and Brazilian culture.

Casa das Áfricas: Its objective is to support studies on the African continent and African students in Brazil.

Caritas: Assistance in protection, social assistance, local integration and mental health to refugee seekers and refugees in the city of São Paulo.

Equipe de Base Warmis: Convergência das Culturas - They are women volunteers who want to transform their realities and improve the conditions in which they live, by developing and promoting activities in their communities.

Grupo de Refugiados e Imigrantes Sem-Teto - GRIST: It aims to inform the refugee / immigrant about public housing policies and warn about possible real estate speculation; as well as organizing cultural events such as debates, gastronomy, fashions, songs, African dance classes, as a way to combat discrimination.

Migração e Cultura (Casa do Migrante): The project is composed of a team of research and psychosocial care to the residents of the Casa do Migrante.
 

Projeto Ponte: A group of psychoanalysts that serves immigrants and migrants who need psychological support. Serves adults, foreigners, students or temporary professionals, exiles, refugees, expatriates and returned Brazilians.

Culture

Centro Cultural Missão Imigrante - MIM: It acts by promoting cultural events related to refuge and immigration and scientific debates on the subject.

Educar para o Mundo: It is a collective of University Extension created by students of the Institute of International Relations, University of São Paulo, which works with popular education in Human Rights, with the migrant population of the city of São Paulo.

MigraMundo: The site intends to be a space to address and debate the multiple facets that permeate the migrations in Brazil and in the world.

Museu da imigração de São Paulo: The proposal is for the Museum to become a space of articulation, promoting reflections on the experience of the displacement and the construction of the identity of São Paulo from multiple origins.
